For Thanksgiving this year, it was too expensive to fly home, so we decided to host our very first Thanksgiving dinner at home with some of our friends in NC. We had a potluck and arranged to have all the traditional fixin's including a 22.5lb turkey (the first one I've ever cooked-but it turned out really good!). We had a great time with our friends and completely ate ourselves silly. We also played games and then of course ate some more. After sending everyone home with LOTS of leftovers, we still had turkey on the menu for almost a week! But Jared loved every minute of it! :)
