Bacone Night

So, to kick of the new school semester, Jared and a couple of his buddies decided to throw a "Bacone Party". Now, they got the idea for this from a website called thisiswhyyourefat.com. So, I'm sure you get the general idea. So, here's what a bacone is: You start by making a cone out of a wire mesh material and covering it with foil. Then you take uncooked bacon and wrap it around the cone. You can then either deep fat fry it or bake it (the baking takes a long time, so they did the deep frying-all the better for you...) after the bacon is cooked, you remove it from the wire mesh and voila, you have your bacon cone. Then, you fill it with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, cheese, etc. and top it with a biscuit (and possibly syrup if you're feeling particularly adventurous. Then you enjoy your homemade "bacone". Sound like quite the cholesterol/calorie fest huh? Anyhoo, the boys had a great time doing it, and now they want to do something similar (but they say that it must be a variation of the bacone or at least another idea from thisiswhyyourefat.comas a tradition to kick off a new semester. We're fitting in great down here in the South, don't ya think? :)
Here's the uncooked bacon ready to be deep fried.
Toppings for the tasty treats.
Even I attempted to eat one. (howbeit small) I finished only half of the bacon (but Jared helped me eat the rest.)
Jared with his first of I think 2 bacones.
Mmm....mmm...good! I don't think I've seen these boys so happy in a while!
