Our next stop along the way, was Denver (Highlands Ranch) with Jared's sister Emily, her hubby Reid, and their three adorable and vivacious girls Grace, Abby, and Eliza. We had so much fun visiting them and seeing Eliza for the first time. The girls kept us really busy, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Emily also arranged for quite a few fun day trips to show us around to keep both us and the girls entertained. Once the girls were in bed, we "grown ups" enjoyed some wii time and other fun games including Emily's homemade "Pete and Kate Land" (her own version of Candy Land about their parents). We had a great time with the Allreds. Thanks guys! Here's some pictures of our fun time in Colorado:

We went to Colorado Springs and took a tour of the Olympic training center. It was really cool to see some future Olympians training.
At the end of our tour of the training center, it started to not just rain but pour! We ran to a nearby tree for a little shelter and made a poor lady passing take a picture of us in the storm.
We spent one day at the Garden of the Gods and play on the beautiful red rock.

We packed a lunch and after a nice walk (with minor complaining from the little ones) we sat and had a nice lunch with a fantastic view!
Grace is quite the little climber, and wherever she went, Abby was trying to follow.
Emily took us to the Red Rock Amphitheater which also had a great view of the city. Now Jared can't wait to someday attend a Rush concert here. :)
