Alia is such a fantastic traveler. We told her she needed to take a nap, so we gave her a blanket and her dolls, and she fell asleep for much of the drive there. FABULOUS!
Right when we got there, Alia immediately started playing in all the sand.
And we had lots of water time too. This little girl is FEARLESS! She did not want to get out of the water. She is definitely our little fish.

On the pier, we saw 2 seagulls. Alia immediately named the "Apple" and "Banana". She thought they were fascinating.

After many hours of fun in the sun, we went out to dinner at a local seafood joint. We had some yummy food, but it was obvious that Alia was wiped out. We walked back to the car, and within about 5 minutes of driving, Alia was conked out! And she stayed asleep until (true to her foodar) she woke up when we stopped for ice cream. But we had a great time, and the weather was perfect.
Yay for NC Beaches! Come visit us sometime. :)
