Finally, we gave in a gave Alia some rice cereal. It was bound to happen eventually...:) I have been giving her carrot sticks and celery to gnaw on, but it was time to really start to introduce solids. And she was a champ! I think she'll take after her Dad, and be quite the eater! :)
NOTE: Since then, we made the mistake of letting her sample a little bit of hummus...now she WILL NOT eat rice cereal! She has to have something with a little flavor. She's no dummy, why eat bland rice cereal when there's so much flavor out there? But she is still eating like a champ...just no rice cereal.
Also, she's finally getting to an age where we can start playing with other kids. We've had a couple of play dates, and though Alia's really just realizing she's not the only kid around, it's fun to see her start to interact...and have other kids interact with her. It was so cute, just last Sunday during choir, Alia reached out and held hands with another little boy in our Ward. Already the little flirt....I don't know where she gets that from!

| So cute! Our friends' baby, Ruth was giving Alia kisses. |
Daddy's so good at making Alia laugh!
