Christmas 2010!

Okay, I'm playing catch-up here...and tho I know no one cares about anything but the baby, here goes anyway:
This year for Christmas, we were able to visit both families.  The timing worked out quite well since I wasn't allowed to fly after 36 weeks, and I was 35 1/2 weeks when we flew back home.  And luckily, no baby was born on the plane. :)
So, first we flew to Utah to spend time with Jared's fam.  Even tho we hit some bad weather and our flight was delayed about 8 hours, we made it to SLC eventually.  We had a great time.  We got to see most of the fam (some of whom came out specifically to cross paths with us...we felt so special).  Some of the highlights included playing with the nieces/nephews (of course!), visiting Mama Kate's grave and singing some of her favorite Christmas songs, and just being together.  Jared's sisters also threw me a baby shower/birthday party, which turned out to be a lot of fun.  Julia made Texas Sheet Cake (super yummy), Emily and Julia wrote me (and baby) a song which was performed mid much laughter, and we got some really cute stuff for the baby.  :)  It's always quite eventful and lots of fun when we go to the Ashworths! :)
Then from Utah, we flew up to Montana to see my side of the family.  This was really awesome since we had the whole fam together (except for Brian-on a mission).  Christmas morning there were 22 people there!  It was a madhouse!  (but tons of fun)  We also got to see our newest adopted niece and nephew for the first time.  Ella and Dagim are seriously dolls, and we loved getting to know them! :)  Jared and I were also in charge of Christmas dinner...a serious undertaking for so many people, but turned out to be quite the success.  My fam also threw me a shower, which was a lot of fun.  I was able to have some friends that I haven't seen in a while there as well as some of my past church leaders.  I felt a little spoiled.
We were so grateful this year to be able to see so much of our family, and so many of our friends.  We really miss 'em since we're so far away.  We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait to see everyone again...hopefully soon!
A bit of the Ashworth clan in front of Mama Kate's grave.
Me reading "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" to Abby, Grace, and Eliza

Jared shoveling LOTS of Utah snow...gotta love it!

We went to Tucanos (to use my free bday dinner coupon) Lots of yummy food!
The bearded men...need I say more?
We also got to see some friends up in SLC.  This is Jenny with their newest little one, Bailey.
More friends, Than and Cody on the mall train.

The current Ostler clan (tho already out of date without our new addition)

Jared and I had a bit of fun wrapping some presents this year.  Note the AWESOME banana wrapped gift,
and the Duke Blue Devil.
It isn't Uncle Jared without some serious rough-housing!

Jared and Ella...what a cutie!

We also celebrated Trey's first birthday.  I can't believe he's already so big!

Me and Dagim...the super stud.

Sledding fun.

More sledding.
Christmas morning choas. :)

We flew home through MN and got to see Dani (and meet her fiance, Jason) during our layover.  So fun!
