So for Christmas this year, Jared and I decided that we absolutely needed a flat screen TV. We sent Jared and his friends (the computer/techie guys) on the hunt to find us a great deal online. We originally bought a 40-inch Toshiba from Sam's Club, but decided that it might be a little too small (I know, crazy, right? But, hanging up, it looks smaller) One of Jared's friends then found a fantastic deal on a 42-inch LG online that was actually cheaper. So, we took the Toshiba back to the store and hurried home to make our purchase. After we had filled in all our information (including credit card), we clicked "submit order". Just as we did this the screen changed and told us the TV was out of stock! Someone literally bought the TV just seconds before we could!
Well, needless to say, Jared was devastated because now we didn't have either TV. But, about a week later, our friend Mike called with a deal he found online for a 47-inch Sharp. It was only $100 more than we paid for the 40-inch! Well, we went a little nuts and decided to buy it. When it was delivered, the box was about as long as me! I was starting to wonder what the heck we were thinking. Once we opened it up and set it up the monstrosity practically took up half the room! Well, once we got it hung up, it definitely looked better. Now Jared (and to be honest, me too) is thoroughly enjoying March Madness on hi-def. We're a little nuts, but since we're big movie watchers, I think this'll be fun....now what's next? A Blu-ray? :)

Oooh! Aaah! How awesome :D
Do you have the surround sound too? I would have to guess that you do. And now there are sets in 3-D features...never ending saga....
Go Duke!
Admit it- the only reason you returned the 40" was so that you could have a bigger TV than we do. ;-)
