On New Year's Eve, we flew from Denver to Minneapolis (Alia was AWESOME flying once again). We were so excited because Dani was getting married the next day! :) We spent New Year's Eve hanging out with Dani and her family and future in-laws. It was nice to get to know everyone, including Jason, Dani's fiance. Plus the food was great! Then that night while we were driving back to the hotel, Dani got her wish, TONS of snow! She would have a white wedding after all! :)
The wedding was beautiful, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the place. We had such a fun time. I couldn't be happier for Dani, Jason's a great catch! And he definitely lucked out getting her. Love her!
Then, we decided to stay one extra day, it was much cheaper that way, so we went to the Mall of America. We browsed a lot, Jared loved the lego and peep stores, went to the awesome aquarium, Alia was fascinated, and did some shopping, all I bought was stuff for the baby. And then, we went and got a Minneapolis fav, a Juicy Lucy (2 quarter pound burgers with cheese oozing out of the middle). Jared LOVED it, and I got my one burger for the year. :) It was a great trip, and we're so glad we were able to be there for Dani's wedding!
