Christmas in Denver

For Christmas this year, we flew to Denver, where Jared's sister, Emily lives.  Once again, Alia was a champ with flying (knock on wood that it'll continue).  We had so much fun seeing so much family!  And we were able to Skype with pretty much everyone we didn't see.  In fact, at one point on Christmas Day, all 7 kids and Jared's dad were "in the same room" via double-Skyping.  We even took a picture.  It was pretty cool.

Alia had a ton of fun playing with all of her aunts, uncles, grandpa, and especially her cousins.  She had such a fun time with all the kids, and LOVED all the extra attention she got.

And, as in Ashworth fashion, we ate TONS of great food and played lots of games...and only got a little competitive.  :)  It was a wonderful Christmas, and we loved seeing our family.  The hardest part about living in NC is being so far away, but it's such a blessing when we get to see everyone.
Alia and her little cousin, James.  He's a few months younger, but they're pretty much the same size...and look pretty similar too!
Playing with Grandpa.
Alia LOVED this Wack-A-Mole game her cousins got.  It lit up, made noises, AND she got to hit it!
Fun with Aunt Juju (and sporting the Christmas Pjs).
Mommy had to show Alia how to open the presents, but once she figured it out...
...there was no stopping her!  In fact, she crawled around "helping" other people open up theirs as well. :)
Daddy modeling his new Grinch jams.
Alia got some great presents, and here she is reading a music book with Uncle Kevin.
Here we are in our Sunday best on Christmas morning...9 am church!
All the kids with Grandpa.
Alia checking out all the swag before we left for church.  Baby food in the stocking, what more could a kid want?
More cute fun with the Jamester.
Totally didn't plan the matching!
The babies with the girls...they liked to play with the babies like they were dolls...Princess Alia and her Prince Charming (never mind that they're first cousins)
Touching snow for the first time with Uncle Nathan.  I don't think she liked it too much.
Thanks for a great Christmas, Ashworths!  Love you!
