Last Saturday turned out to be quite the busy day. We got our first snow of the season here in Durham. And even though it was beautiful and really not all that bad (it didn't really stick), people go a little crazy here because they don't know how to drive in it. But, being a Montana girl, it's no sweat. :) Anyhoo, after a full day of work, I headed over to my baby shower that some of my lovely friends threw for me. It was at a cute little bakeshop called Mad Hatters. Despite the snow, we still had a good turnout (even 4 girls from Jared's program came, which was neat) and a great time chattin' it up with the ladies! It's so weird that I'm really going to be having a baby, and now I'm getting stuff to put her in! :)

Then after the shower, we hurried home for a quick change, and then out the door to Jared's program's Christmas Party. This is always a lot of fun with some pretty darn yummy food. We of course, ate too much, and Jared pretty much ditched me to talk "Econ" with everyone around. :) But, we really had a good time...I was just glad my dress still fit over my bulging midsection...especially after the chocolate cake!
